Watched Ocean's Thirteen for the thirteenth time today. Also watched 27 Dresses, Reality Bites, Jurassic Park & a documentary on the Osbournes. I think I have exploited HBO for all it has to offer.

Organizing stuff for the annual neighborhood garage sale. Not a lot of fun.

I consider myself a pretty savvy domestic engineer, but today I was outsmarted by the new Dyson vacuum. This took considerable chunk of time out of my day.

Also found out that the same company that let me go because "there is not enough work" just paid the contract designer for 63 hours of work last week. WTF?

Aw.....FML.

My first student loan payment was paid today by automatic withdrawl. Kind of funny, since I no longer have a job.

I need to take some time to re-group and figure out what my next move should be.

Spent the day watching HBO. They obviously program their daytime movies for housewives.

Back to more laundry.....

Got laid off today.

No longer an employed designer. Just another creative person looking for work.

If "recession" were a person, I'd want to punch him in the face. I'm so angry right now, with a side of bitter.

I had to break the news to the cats & the dog, who couldn't care less & were thrilled to death, respectively. We celebrate my newly cleared schedule by starting a load of laundry.

Wondering how many loads of laundry will pass until I find another design job?
